Laying down in a field of flowers always feels less comfortable than you would imagine. But it is nevertheless magical. Flowers are usually there for a brief moment so they encourage presence. They also encourage a celebration of warmer month abundance. There is something pagan about laying down in a field, looking at the sky and savoring the moment: people must have done it for millennia. It makes me feel connected to something ancient, meaningful and dreamy.
Have you ever experienced laying down in a field of flowers? How did it feel for you?
